Three Graces Birdbath

The mythological Three Graces were beautiful sister goddesses who attended Venus, the goddess of love. They symbolized ancient liberality; Aglaia was the sister who gave away, Euphrosyne who received, and Thalia who gave back. Throughout the years their subject matter has been very popular with artists, including here in the form of an ancient birdbath.
